MBA Polymers UK Recycled Plastic ISO Certification

MBA, through its commitment and effective quality, environmental and safety management systems were able to illustrate compliance with the required International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) 9001:2015 Quality Management and 14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems and ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management.

Certification to these ISO standards highlights the effectiveness of the processes and procedures we have implemented across the organisation, to ensure we achieve customer satisfaction by supplying products and services, which meet their needs. This is underpinned by MBA’s dedication to continuously improve employee safety, reducing workplace risks, and creating better, safer working conditions.

The accreditation forms part of parent company EMR’s Decade of Action which is a series of measures that EMR will take over the next eight years on the journey to becoming carbon net-zero across its entire value chain by 2030.

Paul Mayhew, General Manager said “Achieving triple ISO Accreditation is brilliant news and allows our customers to have complete assurance that our products and services are being produced to the highest standards of quality and environmental impact. I am incredibly proud of the team who have been awarded this accreditation and it highlights their commitment to producing the highest quality recycled polymer in the UK. I am particularly proud of the 140001:2015 AND 450001: 2018 awards as this further underlines our business commitment to ensure we have the systems in place to protect our environment and colleagues.”
