Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) is an extremely strong thermoplastic polymer, combining the toughness of polybutadiene rubber with the rigidity of acrylonitrile and styrene polymers.
Our recycled ABS polymer compounds are manufactured to the highest quality, using our dedicated streams of automotive and electronic feed.
We manufacture a range of ABS polymer grades, all of which maintain the highest qualities, as well as custom grades based on your specific technical requirements. They’re tough, durable and a cost-effective alternative to virgin polymer feedstock.
MBA Polymers UK are the first Plastics Recycling Business in the world to have their products acheive the Carbon Trust’s Lower CO2 label.
The Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and accompanying achievement of the Lower CO2 label certified by the Carbon Trust, compares MBA Polymers key products to the equivalent LCA of their virgin plastic counterparts as published by PlasticsEurope in their ECO-Profiles.
The LCA study confirms that MBA Polymers UK ABS grades have an 86% lower carbon footprint than its virgin equivalents.

Uses for Recycled Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS)
The hard surface of ABS polymers and their strong chemical resistance make them suitable for a huge range of products in various market sectors including, automotive, construction, packaging and electronics. ABS can withstand heavy impacts and rough use.
Our recycled polymers are used in the manufacture of automotive under the bonnet applications, computer housing, cosmetic packaging, small products for the construction industry, domestic appliances, furniture fittings, spools and many other industries.
Buying from MBA Polymers UK
All of our ABS products are rigorously tested to the highest standards to ensure you only ever receive top quality recycled polymers.
Our advanced styrenics purification process cleans and separates plastics, before they're compounded into our finished pellet product.
Because we are part of the EMR Group, we have a regular supply of raw materials, so we can provide assurances on a sustainable supply of ABS product.
Each batch is tested to a defined specification with a Certificate of Analysis (COA) provided if required. All our products are REACH and RoSH compliant.
