Our standard 20% mineral Filled Polypropylene (FPP) grade is unique in the market combining industry leading stiffness with good tensile and impact properties. We also have the unique ability to separate and manufacture 20% and 30% glass filled PP grades.
We have the technical capabilities to create bespoke grades of recycled, FPP, based on any specific properties you may require for example in respect to melt flow, impact and filler content.
MBA Polymers UK are the first Plastics Recycling Business in the world to have their products acheive the Carbon Trust’s Lower CO2 label.
The Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and accompanying achievement of the Lower CO2 label certified by the Carbon Trust, compares MBA Polymers key products to the equivalent LCA of their virgin plastic counterparts as published by PlasticsEurope in their ECO-Profiles.
The LCA study confirms that MBA Polymers UK FPP grades have an 80% lower carbon footprint than its virgin equivalents.

PP 2131 F20 (mineral filled 20%)
A post-consumer, recycled, 20% mineral Filled Polypropylene, ideal for use in injection moulding and for products requiring high rigidity. This grade is available in standard black (reference 90/04).
PP 2153 F15 (mineral filled 15%)
A post-consumer, recycled, 15% mineral Filled Polypropylene (FPP) copolymer, easy flowing with a good balance of stiffness and impact strength particularly suited to automotive and general use injection moulding. This grade is available in standard black (reference 90/04) and deep black (reference 90/05).
PP 2343 GF30 (glass filled 30%)
A 30% post-industrial recycled Glass Filled Polypropylene (GFPP) copolymer with excellent rigidity for applications where very high stiffness is required. This grade is available in standard black (reference 90/04).
PP 2354 GF20 (glass filled 20%)
A 20% post-industrial recycled Glass Filled Polypropylene (GFPP) copolymer with excellent rigidity for applications where very high stiffness is required. This grade is available in standard black (reference 90/04).
Uses for Recycled FPP
FPP can be used for any component that needs high rigidity. It is used in the automotive industry for under the bonnet applications, water attenuation crates and cable troughs, essentially the automotive and construction industries.
